If you're ever heading down Highway 71 between Columbus and La Grange you MUST stop at the wonderful store, the busy b! This place is AMAZING! It has so many cute gifts and home accents. During Christmas time, the also have the Christmas Store and I spoke with the owner and they are currently in the process of building a spa next to the two stores! Shopping and Pampering...can't beat that! You can visit the website but to get the actual experience you must visit the busy b.

Also, a little FYI...don't stop with your significant other. I asked Scott to stop on our way back to Austin the other week and I promised him I would be 2 minutes while he stayed outside with Honey...Well my 2 minutes turned into 20 minutes and he informed me that I lost my privilege to stop there ever with him again!

The Wonderful World of Costco!

I love this store so much that I honestly think I could be a national spokesperson for them. I had my first experience at a Costco about a year ago and have been in love with the place since. If you are a Sams fan, than you will absolutely love Costco. I think Costco has so much more to offer and has the greatest deals. Not only do they have the freshes fruits, vegatables and flowers but they also have awesome things for around the house and yard. Most of the household products you have to buy in bulk; however they have the newests computers, electronics, furiture, decor, appliances, books, dvds and so much more! Their pharmacy also has wonderful prices on prescriptions. Costco is clean, fun, and cheap! I usually spend hours wondering around the store with the intention of buying nothing, but somehow come out with tons of purchases! While you're doing your monthly shopping, drop of your camera to have your photos developed for only $0.13 a picture...you can't beat that! Oh, also once you become a member, you get awesome coupons in the mail every couple of months. I love buying household products in bulk and stacking them in thier spot and always having the product on hand...It's great feeling! Go visit your Costco!

My birthday was recently and I received the greatest gift. My boyfriend, Scott surprised me with a tomtom ONE. It's a complete and portable GPS car navigation system that is so AWESOME! With my job, I drive alot and at times I do get lost in neighborhoods around Austin. It is quite aggravating and sometimes embarrassing! With my tomtom, I will never get lost again! This little guy is the greatest thing invented. I type in addresses that I want to go to and it gets me there step by step. If you are on the road alot, I would definitely recommend getting one of these. They even tell you how many miles your destination is and the approximate time you will arrive. It also gives you alternate routes if you chose to go a different way! I'm telling you, this thing is a life saver! If you want to get traffic and weather reports you can also pay a monthly fee and it all works off a satellite. I love my tomtom!

South Padre Island

I have to say that it is really great to be a TEXAN. This state has so much to offer and so many places to see! I just returned from a great vacation in South Padre Island. If you have not been, you must go! This place is a wonderful tourist attraction and people come from all over the world to this fabulous island. It is on the very tip of south Texas...only 30 minutes from Mexico. Go and stay awhile! I have been 3 times and every time I go, the island gets better! They are building so many new hotels and condos that the island is really exploding ! The weather was great and the beach was even better. One day we even went dolphin watching. The boat took us out for almost 2 hours and we got to see so many dolphins. There was even 12 baby dolphins throughout the pods. They were so cute! It was great! The sunsets were amazing and so was the food. My favorites are Blackbeard's and Dirty Al's and then of course you have to try the amazing Italian Ice Cream Shops! Don't forget the world famous Wanna Wanna Beach Bar & Grill for a little cocktail to cool you down!

About four year ago, I discovered this site and I am addicted. It usually is a stress reliever for me and seems to slow me down just as my day starts getting crazy. The site is www.jigzone.com . They provide hundreds and thousands of FREE puzzles! Anything from flowers, animals (my favorite), art and scenery. There are so many! You can choose the number and shapes of your puzzles and they've got a new "Puzzle of the Day" everyday. Personally, my favorite is the 67-classic puzzle piece. Even cooler, you can upload a photo and make them into jigsaw puzzles that you can share with others. Bookmark this site and whenever you're bored or feeling stressed... do a puzzle!
